EARTH ANGELS ARISE!👼 Only you know who you are; the time has arrived. Democrat and Republican leaders alike, grow a backbone, or this empire WILL FALL into dust and disarray.🌪💨

CANADIANS🍁 need more than ever to hold hands and stand by for heavy rolls as the ship comes about.🌊⛵️ That will be about it from the Newsroom for now. Now it's time for the Discussion of the Day.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

For the last couple of days, I have been discussing the concept of empathy and Earth angels, as I see it, they are an integral part of one another. Technically, you need both parts within the same component to make the rest of the mechanism work.

- Google Search -

Empathy is often considered a key trait of Earth Angels, who are believed to be spiritually sensitive individuals with a strong connection to the natural world and a mission to help others. Earth Angels are thought to be naturally drawn to helping and healing, often experiencing the emotions of others deeply. Their sensitivity and compassion are seen as essential tools in fulfilling their earthly purpose.

In other words, just normal human beings with the same feelings as the average person, just with a deeper sense of tiny energetic impulses, if channeled through the ears, you can hear a person's heartbeat without using instruments. The senses go to a depth of, just - a guess -, on a one to ten scale, I would guess from personal experience, let us say the average human perceptions are a 5 on my 1 to 10 scale, I would be at about an 8, even with my physical hearing being impaired somewhat, I can still sense the vibrations of the lower sound waves.

Humans possess a wide range of sensitivities across different senses. For hearing, the audible range is generally considered to be between 20 Hz and 20,000 Hz, with the greatest sensitivity to frequencies between 1,000 Hz and 3,000 Hz. In terms of light, humans are most sensitive to wavelengths around 555 nm under daylight conditions, shifting to 507 nm at night. Vibrations are sensed over a broader range than sound, from well below 1 Hz up to at least 100 kHz. Additionally, individuals vary in their level of sensitivity, with some being more sensitive to stimuli than others.

Trump to announce trade deal with UK as tariffs continue to spark economic uncertainty

What we're covering:

• Trade deal: President Donald Trump said he will make a significant trade announcement with the United Kingdom at the White House this morning, adding that that it will be “the first of many.” British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said he will make a statement about the outcome of trade talks with the US later today.

• What could be in the agreement?

• Ongoing negotiations:

Updated 10:47 AM EDT, Thu May 8, 2025 - CNN -

Americans have rushed to beat Trump's tariffs

President Donald Trump’s aggressive tariff regime is widely expected to jack up prices in the US. That has American consumers and businesses rushing to buy what they can to avoid that sticker shock.

Retail sales surged 1.4% in March, the strongest monthly gain since January 2023, which was largely driven by a car-buying frenzy that economists attributed to consumers trying to get ahead of Trump’s 25% tariff on imported cars, which went into effect in April. Additional levies on auto parts went into effect earlier this month.

Businesses also haven’t wasted any time. Gross domestic product, the broadest measure of economic output, declined at an annualized rate of 0.3% in the beginning of the year, the first quarterly contraction since 2022, on a surge in imports that far outstripped exports, subtracting from GDP. Business investment was up in the first quarter for the same reason.

But those brief buying sprints will eventually fade — and it’s unclear what any trade deals will mean for consumer spending and business investment moving forward.

Bill Gates announces plan to give 'virtually all' his money away and end the Gates Foundation in 20 years

When Bill and Melinda French Gates created the Gates Foundation in 2000, they had planned for the organization to continue its work, using their remaining fortune, for several decades after they died. But now, the billionaire Microsoft founder says he doesn't want to wait that long to give away most of his wealth.

Gates announced on Thursday that he now plans to distribute "virtually all" of his wealth — around $200 billion, he estimates — within the next 20 years, before shuttering the foundation on December 31, 2045.

The announcement comes as President Donald Trump's administration is working to slash funding for health, foreign aid, and other public assistance programs — the types of causes the Gates Foundation supports — raising concerns about stalled progress on research and other crucial projects.

Ontario greenlights construction of Canada's first small modular reactor

Ontario Power Generation wants to build 4 mini nuclear power plants at a total cost of $20.9B

Premier Doug Ford's government has given Ontario Power Generation the green light to start construction on Canada's first small modular reactor, a new nuclear energy technology to be built next door to the Darlington power plant.

The small modular reactor (SMR) would provide 300 megawatts of power, enough electricity to supply about 300,000 homes, according to briefing documents from Ontario's Ministry of Energy and Mines.

It would be the first of four such reactors that OPG aims to build on the site, at a total project cost of $20.9 billion, in an effort to meet what's forecast to be a steep rise in demand for electricity in the province.

Turned away, then jailed, family makes third attempt to enter Canada

Aracely Serrano and her two daughters spent 2 weeks in a U.S. holding cell after Canada turned them away

Aracely Serrano arrived on Monday, shortly after 8:30 a.m., in the parking lot next to the U.S. port of entry in Niagara Falls, N.Y., where she had recently been detained along with her common-law husband and two daughters in a windowless holding cell for two weeks.

She pulled a light blue suitcase and a black backpack from the trunk of a vehicle that ferried Serrano and her two daughters, Madelin, 14, and Itzayana, 4, from a shelter in Buffalo, N.Y,, to the parking lot.

The trio walked past the stone walls of the U.S. port of entry, beneath the bulbous eyes of the surveillance cameras, and through the metal turnstiles below the sign that read, "Entry to Canada."

TREE HOUSE NEWS🏡

Land of Whispering Pines🌲

Good morning! I pray that you all be well, at peace, provided for, and blessed🙏🌅

Well, ladies and gentlemen, it's a beautiful, bright, sunny day. The air is still a little cool but pleasant enough to sit, and I just let my mind go where it will and enjoy the outdoors in my green space for a while. With the trees across the driveway all mostly in whole leaves now, it really makes it feel like we are in a tree house in the woods. If we had a lake for a backyard, we would have it made. "Hey Ma, whars my straw hat and fishin' pole? Ahs'm goin' down to the pond to do some fishin"🪱🎣🚣‍♀️

MEMORY LANE:

You know, I've been a' thinkin', and so far no smoke comin' out of my ears, that's a good sign. Anyway, I've been thinking about back home, where from the time I could walk down the hill to the lake from the house we lived in on top of the hill, surrounded by a couple of hundred acres of woodland all around. I was either down at the lake or on top of the hill overlooking a good portion of the five-mile-long lake, which was literally our backyard.

Anyway, this is the most peaceful I have felt since I left the homestead, as I call it. I am at peace with myself, and I no longer need the boxing gloves to fight anymore. There's nothing left for me to fight except to share my compassion and empathy with anyone willing to listen. For the time I am here, that's my payback for the wrongs I did, by giving it back with compassion and empathy wherever I can for the entire planet. Empaths are like that; both the animate and the inanimate are made up of an energetic intelligence one can feel, but we can not know about in this realm. You cannot stuff infinity in a finite container. If I could, I would have it stuffed in jars in my wine cellar.

DISCUSSION OF THE DAY:

LATENT ENERGY AND EMPATHS

- Google Search -

Empaths and latent energy are related in that empaths are highly sensitive to the energy fields of others, effectively absorbing and feeling the emotions and experiences of those around them. This "latent energy" refers to the subtle energy everyone emits, which empaths can sense and interpret. While this ability can be a source of great empathy and understanding, it can also lead to feeling overwhelmed or emotionally drained.

Benefits of Understanding and Managing Latent Energy:

• By understanding the energy field and how empaths interact with it, they can better manage their sensitivity and develop strategies for self-care.
• This allows empaths to harness their empathetic abilities for positive outcomes, such as providing compassionate support to others without becoming overwhelmed.
• Setting boundaries and protecting their energy allows empaths to connect with others in a healthy and sustainable way, fostering stronger relationships and a sense of well-being.

FEELING LATENT ENERGY SOURCES:

"Feeling latent energy sources" can be understood in two ways: a literal feeling of "hidden" energy within a physical system, or a more metaphorical sense of untapped potential within oneself. In physics, latent heat refers to the energy absorbed or released during a phase change (like melting or freezing) without a temperature change. In a more general sense, "latent energy" can be thought of as untapped potential or hidden resources within a person or system.

2. Latent Energy in a More General Sense:

Definition:

In this context, "latent energy" can refer to untapped potential, hidden resources, or dormant abilities within a person or system.

• Recognizing and harnessing latent energy can lead to personal growth, creativity, and resourcefulness

Metaphorical (Personal):

• A feeling of "latent energy" in a metaphorical sense might be a sense of potential or motivation that is not yet fully realized, according to Insight Timer. This could be a sense of untapped creativity, a hidden drive to achieve something, or a feeling of inner power.

The untapped potential of the community:

• Port Weller West might have a wealth of hidden talents, resources, or opportunities that are yet to be fully realized.

My opinion is that it is the ability to sense and see on a level deeper than the average; the average is anyone who fears to leave the box of restricted thinking, taboo!

Pakistan vows to respond after India launches strikes in wake of Kashmir massacre

Here's what we know:

• On brink of wider conflict: India launched strikes on both Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir early Wednesday local time. Pakistan’s prime minister described the attack as “an act of war” and Islamabad has pledged to retaliate, marking a major escalation between the two countries.

Death toll from Pakistani shelling rises to 12 in India-administered Kashmir, source says

The number of casualties from overnight shelling by the Pakistani military on the Indian side of the Line of Control in Kashmir has risen, with 12 civilians killed and 57 injured, a senior Indian defense source told CNN.

India and Pakistan have had near daily exchanges of fire across the Line of Control since the April 22 tourist massacre that sent relations between the two sides plummeting.

Pakistan's military previously confirmed it shelled Indian positions in Indian-administered Kashmir overnight in response to India's airstrikes on its territory. India accused the Pakistanis of unprovoked firing over the Line of Control, the de facto border that divides disputed Kashmir.

CANADIAN NEWS:

Is Donald Trump right when he says the border is just an 'artificially drawn line'?

Historians say he's not exactly wrong, but the story of the Canada-U.S. border is complicated

U.S. President Donald Trump repeated one of his favourite talking points in his meeting with Prime Minister Mark Carney Tuesday, saying the Canada-U.S. border is an "artificially drawn line."

"Somebody drew that line many years ago with, like, a ruler — just a straight line right across the top of the country," he said when the two leaders met in front of reporters at the White House.

When a reporter later asked Carney what he was thinking when Trump made the comment, the prime minister quipped, "I'm glad that you couldn't tell what was going through my mind." READ MORE:

Land of The Whispering Pines

Good morning! I pray that you all be well, at peace, provided for, and blessed🙏🌅

Well, it was a beautiful sunrise, and the temperature was mild for a change. It was nice to just sit in my green space comfortably for a couple of minutes without reaching for a coat. Unfortunately, it's going to return to grey, gloomy, cool, damp sh-t days until next week, when we will finally be back in normal weather for May, sun, partial clouds, and in the mid 70's F. I hope that we get a late summer to make up for all of the springtime we didn't get.😉

I have opened another group on TUMBLR. If you wish to visit, please use the link below:

I thank you very much for reading the news. Now it is time to move on to the discussion of the day.

DISCUSSION:

AWAKENING

Earth Angels, it is time:

I have not been keeping up with the latest goings-on in the news for the past week. Still, on the good side, I have felt a stirring in the works, like the main spring in my watch is about to become a sudden, unforeseen unraveling, that goes for mummies, too. Did you ever see a mummy in their underwear? I hear distant drums, I think the natives are restless tonight, Ma!

Really, I feel resistance in the general populace, and it is now spilling over to the higher places as well. Large companies and even corporations are getting the "natives are restless tonight" syndrome. I just pray it's not too late.

Remember, not long after I began the Tree House News, at the beginning of Trump's inauguration, I shared this message on my Facebook group and my other social network groups.

I prayed for the EARTH ANGELS to start their work. It appears that they are coming out on many different levels. The Earth angels are just ordinary human beings like the person who dashes in front of a speeding bus to save a child's life. They don't even know they are Earth angels until they are called upon.

THEY ARE CALLED UPON TODAY!. Time to awaken, Code Red!🔴💥

NOTICE I will be making an adjustment to my blog for those groups that have a limited amount of characters you can post; I will post an introduction along with the link that goes to my blog to read the full news post. Since most social networks already have translators, it is not necessary to have a separate post in Spanish.

Posting both English and Spanish takes up too much room on the blog and too much scrolling. I still have to figure out how to post the link so that when it opens, it does so from the top and not the bottom. My apologies for that. I am aware of many who use a blog to pass on a complete post, but I have not used my blog link to attach to other social networks before, so I'm still a greenhorn at that.

There is not much more to report for this first full day back in the Newsroom. Now is the time to check out what's on the National News

BREAKING NEWS:

Inside the multi-day meltdown at Newark airport

Air traffic controllers in Philadelphia had been guiding planes to Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey last week when communications suddenly crashed.

"Approach, are you there?" one pilot asked the controller.

The controller had stopped responding.

United Airlines Flight 1951, flying from New Orleans to the Newark hub, tried to radio the controller five times before finally getting a response.

"United 1951, how do you hear me?" the controller asks, according to air traffic control conversations recorded by the website LiveATC.net.

"I got you loud and clear, United 1951," the pilot responds.

Those 30 seconds of silence when communication went down ultimately cascaded into a weeklong meltdown at Newark, one of the nation's largest airports. It resulted in delays and cancellations for thousands of customers, controllers taking leave for trauma, and renewed scrutiny on an outdated air traffic control system.

Trump's trade war with Canada has backfired on America. Now he has a crucial meeting with Mark Carney

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney will visit US President Donald Trump at the White House on Tuesday in what could be one of the most contentious meetings between the neighboring countries' leaders in years.

Canada is America's second-biggest trading partner and one of its closest allies on many fronts, from national security to commerce. But Trump's aggressive tariff blitz in recent months has undermined that longstanding relationship — and inadvertently helped Carney consolidate political power.

In a stunning rebuke to Trump, Canada's Liberal Party, with Carney as its leader, won federal elections last week, putting the newly elected government on a collision course with the Trump administration. In a defiant post-election speech, Carney said "we are over the shock of the American betrayal, but we should never forget the lessons."

5 things to know about South Korea's military submarine pitch to Canada

South Korea pitches Canada on $20B-plus plan for subs, armoured vehicles

Country is making coordinated push to work with Canada amid uneasy U.S. relations

A trio of South Korean companies have made a significant, multibillion-dollar pitch to Canada, promising to quickly replace the navy's aging submarines, deliver more firepower to the army and help revitalize the country's defence industrial base.

A detailed overview of the unsolicited proposals, which were delivered to the federal government in early March, was given to CBC News.

The companies have the full backing of the South Korean government, which is eager to expand the defence and security partnership it signed with former prime minister Justin Trudeau two years ago in Seoul.

CBC News was given unprecedented, exclusive access to senior Korean defence and security officials as well as two defence plants and shipyards, which have set aside their competitive differences in order to bid on Canada's submarine replacement program.

Hanwha Ocean and Hyundai Heavy Industries submitted a detailed, joint presentation worth $20 billion to $24 billion, promising to deliver the first four submarines by 2035, the current Royal Canadian Navy deadline to receive just one new boat. It has also pitched building maintenance facilities in this country, which would employ Canadians.

I don't like morning appointments and did not realise I had an appointment this morning, so that may leave me short for doing the regular news today. I still wanted to check in to assure you that I am still around, and will continue to do so for as long as it takes to help my Canadian and American friends get over either swallowing the Trump Lump or coughing it up like a hairball.

Also, for as long as it is G-d's will, for the duration I am on his green earth, I will be here.
