Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏
It's another beautiful summer morning out there in my green space. I savor every second, it won't be around for much longer. I am sure that I will be appreciative to be able to sit in this chair without pain. Got enough problems with the stomach, I don't need a pain in the arse toothache to go with it. Too much pain for this tiny body. I pray that this is the end of the torture rack; I have had enough to pay for several lifetimes of sins. The only positive thing I can do while I'm suffering is to send prayers for the healing of those who are suffering, and there are plenty of them out there to pray for. Why suffer unnecessarily? Put it to good use.
TODAY'S PRAYER: Let us take a moment to pray and meditate for those who are suffering and for those getting chewed up in Trump's meat grinder. I like the guy about as much as I do my TOOTHACHE AND MY SICK GUT, but I leave it to the Great Spirit as to what Karma they shall receive. Let the Great Spirit deal with him and his MAGAt dunce brigade. I can only pray that whatever Karma the Great Spirit has in store for them is expedited BEFORE more people are destroyed.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:
Shooter still at large after Trump ally and activist Charlie Kirk was murdered on Utah campus
This comment was made by MSNBC analyst Matthew Dowd yesterday, and it got him fired:
"Regarding Charlie Kirk, a devoted Trump ally, He's been one of the most divisive, especially divisive younger figures in this, who is constantly sort of pushing this sort of hate speech or aimed at certain groups,"
Dowd replied. "And I always go back to, hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions. And I think that is the environment we are in."
In my own opinion, it stands to reason that for every action, you get an equal and opposite reaction. That's science, to put it simply, if you throw a brick in a crowd, you get one back.
This comment drew so many demands from MAGAts for Dowd's firing that MSNBC canned Dowd due to his comments being "inappropriate."
There is no denying that this bunch of Republican henchmen, Dunce Cadets as I call them, REPUBLICANS MY ARSE, DUNCE BRIGADE MAGAts, are so obviously a bunch of sadist clowns. A man speaks the truth, and he loses his job, or Trump finds someone's wallet to choke. No wallet, no ID, and no money, you are a non-person. AND THEY BLAME IT ALL ON THE DEMOCRATS, when the Democrats are still so far off afield they'll have to call in an international agent to find where their ball went. They can't even squeak, let alone get in the way of the meat-grinding Dunce Brigade MAGAts, which are steamrolling them.
I don't know who Charlie Kirk is. I have never heard of him, so I don't think he's one of The Big Cheeses, but they are certainly making a big deal about him. What about all those who were recently killed in a school shooting? And these Mother Truckers want more guns on the street. Will more guns solve everything? In its last term, the Utah Legislature made it legal to carry firearms, openly or concealed, on a college campus.
Who was Charlie Kirk? What we know about the shooting and the suspect
Video of the incident shows Charlie Kirk speaking to a large outdoor crowd when a gunshot rings out.
Charlie Kirk, a well-known conservative activist in the United States and staunch ally of President Donald Trump, was shot dead at an event at Utah Valley University (UVU) on Wednesday.
Video of the incident circulating on social media showed Kirk speaking to a large outdoor crowd when a loud crack, a gunshot, rang out...

UK fires ambassador to US Peter Mandelson over Epstein links
London
—
Peter Mandelson was fired as Britain’s ambassador to the United States on Thursday after his ties to the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein became another unwelcome problem for the embattled Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Mandelson had been under mounting pressure over his relationship with Epstein after US lawmakers on Monday released a “birthday book,” compiled for Epstein’s 50th birthday in 2003, in which the veteran Labour party politician had penned a handwritten note describing Epstein as “my best pal.” Despite the revelation, Starmer forcefully defended his ambassador on Wednesday, telling parliament that Mandelson had his “full confidence.”

Double whammy for Americans: Inflation continues to rise as jobs outlook grows weaker
The cost of living continues to increase for Americans at a time when the job market appears to be on shakier footing, creating a complicated economic problem that could be tricky to solve.
Consumer prices rose 0.4% in August, driving the annual inflation rate to 2.9%, the highest since January, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics data released Thursday. The reading marked an acceleration from the 2.7% increase seen in July, with price hikes driving up the cost of Americans’ most basic needs. Grocery and fuel prices shot higher in August after falling the month before. Food at home prices rose 0.6% — the highest monthly jump in nearly three years — and gas prices climbed by 1.9% after falling 2.2% the month before.
The latest Consumer Price Index provided further evidence that some costs from President Donald Trump’s policies, such as sweeping immigration reform and steep tariffs, are slowly being passed along to consumers, economist Dean Baker, co-founder of the Center for Economic and Policy Research, told CNN on Thursday...
