TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡
Land of Whispering Pines 🌲
Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏
It is a lovely, mild morning here in my Green Space, with cirrus clouds rolling in from the Southeast. I pray that the upper winds don't shift more from the east; if it does, we usually experience a change in weather patterns here in the Niagara Region. It often comes quite rapidly, even overnight. The jet stream typically drops from the north, bringing colder, wetter weather. When the jet stream goes north, warmer air from the southwest comes to our region 🥶🥵. Southwest 🥵 is what we are predicted to experience for the next couple of weeks. You know, the usual, Summer hanging onto a twig 🌱 on the edge of the dark, mysterious precipice ⛰ of winter deal. 🌬 🥶
For today, it appears like it's going to be another typical summer day, and I am very grateful for that. And thank you for spending a moment or two with me as you read through the Tree House News.
Now, let us pause for a moment and pray, then take action. Help one another, VIVE LA RESISTANCE!✊
Today, let us pray for the not-so-fortunate survivors of human or naturally caused catastrophes. Please look after one another. Now, maybe it's time to bring back some of the old ways where neighbor helped neighbor as we did to get through the Great Depression. It's called being humanitarians. Sharing love, caring, compassion, and EMPATHY are at the top of the list.
TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

- Being a Humanitarian:
Being a humanitarian means actively working to reduce human suffering and promote human welfare, often in times of crisis like natural disasters or conflict, by providing essential aid and advocating for dignity and equality. This can involve formal work as an aid worker, but it also extends to individuals who volunteer, fundraise, or campaign for justice, emphasizing a personal commitment to compassion and social reform. ... I remember my mom telling me a story about when she was little, living on the farm during the Great Depression. It was not unusual for her dad to take in homeless people riding the freight trains and provide them with lodging in the barn. They ate at the supper table with the rest of the family, and he paid them for working on his farm. That's one example of helping one another, that and bartering. Maybe this humanitarian system can be applied in many other living situations until the Orange Pus Bag storm has blown over.
My Partner and I have a proposal package that we are working on together to present to you, the people, to consider putting into action.
I know I am just little stuff as far as the news goes, but at least I do my best to UNFAKE THE NEWS
BREAKING NEWS:
ICE calls for removal of man accused of beheading another man with machete at Dallas motel
Police say Cobos-Martinez was cleaning a room with an unnamed witness as the incident unfolded. The witness told police Cobos-Martinez became upset when the victim, Chandra Nagamallaiah, used the unidentified witness to translate his request to not use a broken washing machine instead of speaking to him directly, according to the affidavit.
Surveillance video shows Cobos-Martinez leaving the motel room, pulling out a machete and attacking Nagamallaiah. After the victim ran, the attack continued outside – in front of the victim’s wife and son – both of whom attempted to intervene, according to the affidavit. After beheading Nagamallaiah, Cobos-Martinez allegedly placed the victim’s head in a dumpster.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement issued a statement Thursday announcing it had lodged a detainer for the federal arrest and removal of Cobos-Martinez, whom ICE called a “depraved criminal illegal alien from Cuba.”
The beheading comes amid the Trump administration pointing at crimes committed by undocumented people as reasoning behind the recent immigration crackdowns across the United States.
Cobos-Martinez was previously held in ICE Dallas custody at the Bluebonnet Detention Center but was released on an order of supervision on January 13 “because Cuba would not accept him because of his criminal history,” according to ICE. CNN has reached out to the Cuban Consulate in the US to verify this accusation. ...

Yordanis Cobos-Martinez. Quite probably the truth since there was an eyewitness. BUT!
I suppose we won't know the complete, undiluted truth behind this one or any other with Hispanic-sounding last names until we have a real legal system that doesn't discriminate against ANYONE, so be it. 🙇♀️ AMEN! 🙏
NATO launches ‘Eastern Sentry’ operation in response to Russian drone incursions
NATO has launched an initiative to reinforce the defense of Europe’s eastern flank after a Russian drone incursion into Polish airspace this week, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced on Friday.
The “Eastern Sentry” operation will commence in the coming days and will involve assets from Denmark, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and others, Rutte said. “Eastern Sentry will add flexibility and strength to our posture and make clear that, as a defensive alliance, we are always ready to defend,” he added.
Rutte said that Russia’s “dangerous and unacceptable” drone incursion on Wednesday was “not an isolated incident.”
“Russia’s recklessness in the air, along our eastern flank, is increasing in frequency,” Rutte said.
NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Europe, US General Alexus Grynkewich, said the operation, which will be “flexible and agile,” will include enhanced capabilities, integrated air- and ground-based defenses, and increased information-sharing among NATO partners.

Foreign hack of John Bolton’s AOL account cited as part of reasoning for searching his house
*The inclusion of the section about the hack indicates that it has become a key reason for investigators to believe Bolton may have violated laws that prohibit the unsecured keeping or sharing of national defense and classified records following his departure from the White House in the fall of 2019.*
The FBI’s search affidavit also discusses his public commentary about other politicians needing to protect classified records and his work on a manuscript in 2020 that he published that year as a deeply critical look inside the Trump White House. In addition to the new court record, a source familiar with the investigation has told CNN that intelligence related to the hack – collected overseas by the CIA years ago – provided the basis for the warrant to search Bolton’s house.
The US intelligence community believes Bolton’s emails had hallmarks of being intercepted by China, Russia or Iran, according to a source familiar with the matter. Of those three countries, Iran was considered the top suspect, the source said, though it remains unclear if investigators ever concluded who the exact culprit was...
