Well, that settles it. I made the coffee and ate my cereal as I waited for the coffee, feeling much more alive today instead of like roadkill yesterday. After the coffee was done doin' its thing, I took a cup and went to sit out in my Green Space, with the early sun shining down from the top of the trees, it felt like Heaven.

My Personal Prayer For Today is: I need and deserve a little piece of Heaven in mind and body now and again, not constant Hate and Pain. Physical and spiritual pain is Hell. HATE, PAIN, and HELL are Satan's holy trinity in my opinion. For today, I am grateful and thank the Great Spirit for allowing me to be free from the torture table in Satan's dungeon, and I pray that my debt for any wrongdoings has been paid in full.

You thought it was fall? A major pattern shift starts today

Anyone who’s drinking hot pumpkin spice lattes in a chunky sweater may need to rein it in for a little while. The crisp weather many in the United States enjoyed over the last week or two was just a sneak peek of fall: Late summer heat is making a comeback.

Temperatures will start getting toasty Friday afternoon, and by Sunday, over 90 million people in the central and eastern US are expected to have afternoon highs above 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The jet stream will lift all the way into Canada this weekend across the eastern half of North America. When the jet soars north, it opens the gate for warm air to travel well beyond its usual early-September stomping grounds.

Technically, it’s still astronomical summer until the autumnal equinox on September 22, so the season’s second wind isn’t so surprising. But on the heels of a refreshing false fall, the snap back to summertime will feel all the more dramatic...

Trump says he’s targeting Memphis in crime crackdown

President Donald Trump announced Friday that his administration would target Memphis as part of his efforts to crack down on crime across the nation’s major cities.

“I’ll be the first to say it right now, again, we’re going to Memphis,” Trump told “Fox & Friends” in an interview. “Memphis is — that’s the next thing, deeply troubled, and the mayor is happy, he’s a Democrat mayor, the mayor is happy. And the governor, Tennessee, the governor is happy. … We’re going to fix that just like we did Washington.”

Charlie Kirk shooting suspect taken into custody and identified

Where Things Stand:

• JUST IN: The suspect in the killing of Charlie Kirk is in custody, officials just announced in a news conference.

• The suspect, identified as Tyler Robinson, reached out to a family friend, who then contacted authorities, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said. Robinson spoke negatively of Kirk before the shooting, a family member told investigators, the governor said.

• Investigators discovered a bolt-action rifle wrapped in a towel, and inscriptions — including one that read “Hey fascist! Catch!” — were engraved on casings found with the rifle, officials said.

• President Donald Trump earlier said he believed “with a high degree of certainty” that the shooting suspect had been apprehended...

Source says legislation could be tabled as early as Tuesday

Prime Minister Mark Carney's government is expected to introduce legislation as early as Tuesday to crack down on people willfully intimidating and obstructing individuals entering places of worship, cultural community centres and schools, CBC News has learned. A source with knowledge of the government's plans says Ottawa will propose three new offences under Canada's Criminal Code, including creating a new hate crime offence.

Carney promised during his election campaign to respond to what he's called a "horrifying rise in hate" including antisemitism and Islamophobia. He signalled to his caucus this week changes were coming...
