Great Spirit bless 🙏
Good morning, folks! I do pray that you are all well and safe, and may the Great Spirit bless you and help you make the right choices on this day 🙏. Today, my prayers also go to all the good folks I met and knew in America, especially in Tennessee. Back then, to me, it didn't matter what flags they flew or religions they belonged to; I went to their church with them. It didn't matter to me which denomination; I went with my friends. May the Great Spirit especially bless the good-hearted, no matter what religion they are. The Middle East should take a lesson from me, eh? The Canadian Wayward Hippie, they wouldn't have all those wars and disputes and throat-cutting as they do.
MY HOUSE IS YOUR HOUSE.
The G-d of the universe, I have personally come to understand, is the very fabric of time and space, with an evolving consciousness, like the evolving stars, galaxies, nebulae, planets, moons, asteroids, meteors, and the many chemicals and gases, capable of forming life or the environment to support life, etc. Of itself, in this section or dimension in time and space, the temporal world and all the ingredients and chemical compounds required to form life.
How did all the right elements required to form life get here? And how much of that ingredient for life is there in a place as large as the universe, where we can't even detect the outside edge? It's actually hard to tell which way the outer edge points. From what we were told, we are closer to the Big Bang than we are to the outside edge of the universe; that's my guess.

🔹AI Overview
Yes, we are significantly "closer" to the Big Bang in terms of time and location than we are to the edge of the universe, primarily because the Big Bang happened everywhere at once.
Universe Today
Question: Are we closer to the Big Bang than the outside edge of the universe?
Here is a breakdown of why this is the case:
- The Big Bang is "Here": The Big Bang was not an explosion in space; it was an explosion of space itself that occurred everywhere simultaneously 13.8 billion years ago. The matter that makes up Earth was present at the Big Bang. In that sense, we are sitting exactly on top of where the Big Bang happened.
- The "Edge" is Farther: When we talk about the "edge" of the universe, we are referring to the observable universe—the limit from which light has had enough time (13.8 billion years) to travel to us. Due to the expansion of space, this edge is actually about 46 billion light-years away in every direction.
- No "Outside" Edge: The universe is not believed to have a physical edge or boundary. The "edge" we see is a temporal boundary (the cosmic microwave background) rather than a physical wall.
WELL, HAPPY TRAILS, EVERYONE. It's one Hell of a long way to Tipperary.

BREAKING NEWS:
Evacuation flights ramp up as Iran war spreads beyond the Middle East
Thousands are leaving the region as the US vows to strike deeper into Iran and Tehran lashes out at US allies.
Here's The Latest:
VIDEO | Included:
• On the ground: There has been no letup in strikes with the war in its sixth day. Israel says it hit Iranian missile sites while Iran carried out fresh retaliatory strikes across the region, with several injured in Abu Dhabi. A CNN team has entered Iran, the first US network to cross into the country since the war began.
• Widening conflict: There are further signs of the war spilling beyond the Middle East. Iran denied its drones struck an airport in Azerbaijan. Meanwhile, Tehran called the US torpedoing of a warship near Sri Lanka an "atrocity."
• Evacuations ramp up: Stranded passengers are starting to leave the Middle East as airlines schedule new services and governments rally charter flights. But many remain stuck with limited travel options.
• Kurds targeted: Iran said it targeted "separatist terrorist groups (that) intended to enter the country's western borders." The statement follows reports that the CIA was working to arm Kurdish forces, with the aim of fomenting a popular uprising in Iran.

The Iran war is spreading like a wildfire, and I don't see any firefighters anywhere in sight! Just a bunch of clucking chickens sitting on their useless little chicken wings, U.N. and Congress will never fly, leaving their citizens at the mercy of The Republinazis of Bizaromerica. CAN YOU TRUST YOUR LIFE IN THE HANDS OF A DEMENTED MANIAC? The Coo-coo in charge!
America is the oil king of the world. So why is the Iran war sending gas prices higher?
The United States is producing more oil than any country in the history of the planet. Yet the war with Iran has sent gas prices up 20 cents a gallon, or 7% in just a few days.
Why?
No matter how much crude the United States produces domestically, oil is traded in a global market – one that President Donald Trump just upended. Without all of the United States’ substantial crude production, Americans could already be paying $4 or even $5 a gallon for gasoline...

Question: _*Canada having its own oil, what are we planning to do if the prices of fuel keep skyrocketing
🔹AI Overview
Despite being a major oil producer, Canada's fuel prices are largely determined by global market forces, making them susceptible to international conflicts, currency fluctuation, and supply constraints. As of early 2026, with fuel prices threatening to climb due to volatility in the Middle East, the strategic approach focuses on boosting domestic production, accelerating the energy transition, and leveraging market mechanisms.
Here is what is planned to manage skyrocketing fuel prices
1. Increasing Domestic Production and Infrastructure
Growing Output: Canadian oil supply is projected to grow by roughly 4% in 2026 to about 5.5 million barrels per day, with producers actively seeking ways to increase output to meet demand.
Upgrading Infrastructure: To address constraints in transporting oil to market, there is a focus on increasing pipeline capacity to prevent bottlenecks that can exacerbate price differences.
*Energy Security:* The federal government is addressing supply concerns, with reports of other nations calling to leverage Canadian energy, signaling a push to boost Canadian production to enhance self-sufficiency.
Financial Post:
2. Accelerating the Transition to Renewables
- Electrification: High and volatile oil prices are accelerating the shift toward electric transportation, which is expected to reduce long-term global oil demand and decrease reliance on fossil fuels.
Alternative Investments: The government is focusing on investing in clean alternatives, such as heat pumps, public transit, and electric vehicles to cut long-term costs and pollution.

3. Policy and Regulatory Measures
- Removing Carbon Pricing: Effective April 1, 2025, the federal government moved to remove the consumer carbon charge to help lower gas prices and reduce inflationary pressures.
Market-Based Pricing: The federal government maintains that, outside of emergencies, it does not regulate retail gasoline prices, relying on competition to set prices.
*Strengthening Competition:* The government is acting to strengthen the Competition Act to ensure fair competition among fuel retailers.
4. Consumer Support and Relief
- Provincial Tax Relief: While federal, some provincial governments have previously introduced temporary gas tax cuts during price spikes, and may consider such measures again to provide relief.
- Direct Rebates: The federal "Climate Action Incentive" program is designed to provide rebates to households to offset costs, with 80% of households in applicable provinces receiving more in rebates than they pay in carbon costs.
While these measures are in place, the immediate trend in early 2026 indicates that rising global demand and conflict-driven uncertainty could lead to further price volatility, with experts encouraging consumers to use, where possible, alternative transportation and monitor local fuel cycles...
How America’s war with Iran has shattered the U.A.E.’s sense of security
When debris from an intercepted Iranian missile struck the Fairmont The Palm, a five-star hotel on Dubai’s opulent manmade archipelago on Feb. 28, it pierced not just the country’s advanced missile defence system but also its carefully crafted image of security. For decades, the United Arab Emirates has positioned itself as an economic and cultural hub, connecting European and Asian markets.
“The U.A.E. in particular, but more broadly, the rest of the Gulf positioned itself as a haven, surrounded by a pool of chaos for the last 40 years … and that's all been shattered now,” said Stephen, a political analyst who now resides in Ireland...
