Good morning, everyone! It's a beautiful, sunny Monday morning here at the Tree House. I do pray 🙏that you all have a productive, reasonably happy, safe, and blessed day

May you all be guided by the Power Who Is, The Great Spirit, Universe. Also, sending prayers 🙏 for protection for those in all war-torn countries around the world. And may the perpetrators be dealt with soon, "AMEN!" I know one thing that I am 100% sure of, which is that when I get to Saint Peter's gate, I won't have to be carrying those perpetrators' bags of sins with me. A bag 🛍 full of boat anchors ⚓️ was enough, and I already got rid of those. Love and care for one another, and help someone in need today, or take the time to help yourself.

I watched the shimmering sun come up over the tree tops, then this song popped into my mind. I can't think of a better way to share the empathy I have within me with you. "Now that is empathy!" Thank you for reading the TREE HOUSE NEWS. Can you imagine how deep those feelings go inside of me as an empath? Enough to bring tears to my heart, so that I had to stop typing. So now everyone knows there's an emotional side to me. I couldn't have done 25 years of Social Work without empathy. Why do you think those overworked and underpaid doctors, nurses, aides, physician's assistants, and personal support staff workers stick with their jobs? It certainly isn't for the money, bonuses, and holidays.

But the doctors and nurses are fighting a losing battle against a GOVERNMENT THAT REFUSES TO PAY THEM A DECENT SALARY FOR DECENT WORKING HOURS. YES, YOU, MR. FORD, ARE THE WORST MONEY GRUBBER OF ALL, WITHHOLDING AND/OR STEALING THE HEALTH CARE MONEY FROM THE PEOPLE!

WHERE DID THE $3.1 billion Ontario received from the federal government, exclusively to improve its health care system, go to?

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Ontario Premier Doug Ford signed an agreement in 2024 that details how the province must spend $3.1 billion in federal funding earmarked for health care.

Add 700 spots in medical education programs — including 70 in Northern Ontario — and improve its tracking and reporting of health data by upgrading digital infrastructure across the system.

The deal stems from a national health funding summit in February 2023, when Trudeau's government offered to boost the Canada Health Transfer with $46 billion in additional spending, including $25 billion allocated for tailored agreements with the provinces and territories.

War spirals in the Middle East as explosions heard across the region

Three US jets were accidentally shot down in Kuwait and Israel, and Hezbollah traded blows in Lebanon.

US fighter jet crashes in Kuwait after being hit by 'friendly fire'

Video geolocated by CNN show a US military aircraft crashing and crew parachuting to the ground in Kuwait. US Central Command said three US F-15E fighter jets were lost to "friendly fire" amid ongoing strikes from Iran.

3 U.S. Planes Are Shot Down in ‘Friendly Fire’ in Kuwait, U.S. Military Says

Separately, a drone attack hit the U.S. Embassy compound in the Persian Gulf state, as Iran continues to target American assets across the Middle East.

Three American jets were shot down over Kuwait during “an apparent friendly fire incident” while they were taking part in the campaign against Iran, the U.S. military’s Central Command said in a statement on Monday.

“During active combat — that included attacks from Iranian aircraft, ballistic missiles, and drones — the U.S. Air Force fighter jets were mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses,” the statement said. All six crew members “ejected safely, have been safely recovered and are in stable condition,” Central Command added, extending its gratitude to Kuwait for participating in the operation against Iran.

The incident took place as Iran has targeted American assets throughout the Persian Gulf in retaliation for the U.S.-Israeli military campaign that killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Saturday. Canada supports U.S. actions in destroying Iran's nuclear program, Carney says

PM also says Canada not participating militarily and wasn't part of military buildup

As U.S. President Donald Trump charges ahead with a major attack on Iran, Prime Minister Mark Carney says Canada supports at least one component of the American mission: destroying Iran's nuclear program.

"Canada supports the United States acting to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and to prevent its regime from threatening international peace and security," Carney said in a speech at the Canada-India Growth and Investment Forum in Mumbai on Saturday.

"Canada's position remains clear: The Islamic Republic of Iran is the principal source of instability and terror throughout the Middle East, has one of the world's worst human rights records and must never be allowed to obtain or develop nuclear weapons." ...

Wary U.S. allies try to avoid getting drawn into criticizing Washington or attacking Tehran

Allies quick to say they weren't involved — but also refrained from condemning strikes

As American and Israeli war planes finished their first attacks against Iran over the weekend, carefully worded statements from Western allies started to roll out. Iran “must never be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon,” said a spokesperson for the British government. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said he shared the U.S.’s interest in ending “this regime’s terror.” French President Emmanuel Macron insisted on diplomacy.
