• Israel carried out heavy airstrikes in Tehran and on the Hezbollah-controlled southern suburbs of Beirut overnight into Friday after ordering its residents to leave, while the Iran-backed group warned Israelis to leave towns and villages at the frontier.
• Iran continued countering with attacks on Israel, U.S. bases and nearby nations.
• U.S. President Donald Trump said this morning that the only deal with Iran would be "unconditional surrender," adding that what follows would include "acceptable" leaders and a "better" Iran.
• Canada continues working to secure flights for Canadians out of the region, Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand announced Friday.
• More than 108,000 Canadians were registered in the Middle East as of today. Roughly 3,500 of them have requested help evacuating the region, Anand said.
