Hi There! Well, I will be surprised if I'm still on X after this morning. Elon, I am asking why people are so angry because I just want to look into discrepancies in SOCIAL SECURITY. I responded you're taking away many people's only source of income, and you're going to mess with it. Remember Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs: take away their basic needs? I didn't add what the result would be of denying people their basic needs. I only added I wouldn't want to be in his shoes.
I tried humor, philosophy, psychology, science, and whatever knowledge I have at my disposal gained from experience, observation, and systematic inquiry and the different characteristics and behavior of the humanoid that are labeled in biological science as the quirks of both the physiology and psychology of the Homo-Sapiens. I can read the characteristics of people on TV; I can feel what's really inside, and most of the time, there is a whole lot more in there than what is projected on the outside. It can be, and you can tell by the determination and the strength of the voice to deliver that message. If you have a person who has integrity and compassion like that, they are worth listening to.
I learned to express my views on the difference between right and wrong. People have been so severely screwed around that they are beginning to look like corkscrews; especially in the past couple of decades or so, it went from bad to worse. People are overworked, underpaid, and have no time to spend with family and friends, go on vacation, or go on a weekend, just like we used to. Even I have had my periods of doubt as to which was wrong and which was correct.
There is one saying in all of the Holy Books, scriptures, and ancient scripts they all agree on: THOUGH SHALL NOT KILL.
Except for the part about self-defense and war. So, if Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs is threatened, that is where self-defense, self-preservation, and survival, including food, clothing, and shelter, kick in... I need not finish the rest.
All I can add is that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I would enjoy going back to the US someday. Albuquerque—I was there once. I loved the people there and would love to see more of the desert country. My next destination was southern California. Sadly, I believe I won't be going there for a while.
At least in the desert, you can expect it to be hot and dry. The Hualapai reservation is at the base of the Grand Canyon. I prefer seeing the Grand Canyon from the bottom; too much wind at the top. At the end of September, it can get cold up there, but at the bottom, it's still like early June on the Colorado River. And I remember there were some wonderful, hospitable people there, too. A 30-day ceasefire is, unhesitatingly, good news, at first. But a truce is the most complex, and damaged idea of this decade-long conflict. And how it endures will define Ukraine’s support, sovereignty and survival.
After likely hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian and Russian dead, it will be hard for any side to refuse the concept of a truce. Moscow will be under pressure to show it is not the obstacle to US President Donald Trump’s goal of peace at almost any cost.

Trump imposes sweeping 25% steel and aluminum tariffs. Europe immediately retaliates
President Donald Trump imposed sweeping 25% tariffs on all steel and aluminum imported into the United States Wednesday, a policy aimed at leveling the playing field for US manufacturing but a move that threatens to drive up prices on a broad range of consumer and industrial goods for Americans.
It’s the latest salvo in Trump’s multifaceted tariff plan aimed at correcting perceived trade imbalances and reigniting domestic industry. But it risks igniting a global trade war. The European Union, hit for the first time by higher US tariffs since Trump returned to the White House, retaliated within hours with countermeasures on US goods exports.
The tariffs on steel and aluminum mark the first time in Trump’s second term that a set of tariffs has been applied to all countries.

Finance Minister Dominic LeBlanc, Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly, Industry Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne will detail Canada's response to Trump's tariffs at 9:45 a.m. ET.

No añadí cuál sería el resultado de negarles a las personas sus necesidades básicas. Solo añadí que no me gustaría estar en su lugar.
Probé con el humor, la filosofía, la psicología, la ciencia y todo el conocimiento que tengo a mi disposición, obtenido de la experiencia, la observación y la indagación sistemática, y las diferentes características y comportamientos del humanoide que en la ciencia biológica se etiquetan como peculiaridades tanto de la fisiología como de la psicología del Homo-sapiens. Puedo interpretar las características de la gente en la televisión; Puedo sentir lo que realmente hay en mi interior, y la mayoría de las veces, hay mucho más ahí de lo que se proyecta desde fuera. Puede serlo, y se nota en la determinación y la fuerza de la voz al transmitir ese mensaje. Si conoces a una persona con esa integridad y compasión, vale la pena escucharla.
Aprendí a expresar mi opinión sobre la diferencia entre el bien y el mal. La gente ha sido tan perjudicada que empieza a parecer un sacacorchos; especialmente en las últimas dos décadas, la situación ha ido de mal en peor. La gente trabaja demasiado, está mal pagada y no tiene tiempo para estar con la familia y los amigos, ir de vacaciones o de fin de semana, como solíamos hacer. Incluso yo he tenido mis periodos de duda sobre qué estaba mal y qué estaba bien.
Hay un dicho en todos los Libros Sagrados, escrituras y manuscritos antiguos en el que todos coinciden: PENSAMIENTO NO MATARÁS.
Excepto por la parte sobre defensa propia y guerra. Así que, si la Jerarquía de Necesidades de Maslow se ve amenazada, ahí es donde entran en juego la autodefensa, la autopreservación y la supervivencia, incluyendo la comida, la ropa y el refugio... No hace falta que termine.
Solo puedo añadir que los tengo presentes en mis pensamientos y oraciones. Me encantaría volver a Estados Unidos algún día. Albuquerque; estuve allí una vez. Me encantó la gente y me encantaría ver más del desierto. Mi próximo destino era el sur de California. Lamentablemente, creo que no iré por un tiempo.
Al menos en el desierto, es de esperar que sea caluroso y seco. La reserva Hualapai está al pie del Gran Cañón. Prefiero ver el Gran Cañón desde abajo; hay demasiado viento en la cima. A finales de septiembre, puede hacer frío arriba, pero abajo, todavía hace como principios de junio en el río Colorado. Y recuerdo que también había gente maravillosa y hospitalaria.
