Good morning! I pray The Great Spirit be with you 🙏 🌅

What do you know, the sun ☀️ is out and the boids 🐦 are a-tweetin' and all is well here in the Niagara Peninsula 🗾 . Still a little cool 🌬 , but at least it's nice and bright and peaceful, with only the intermittent bird songs in the early morning stillness. I could sit there in my nightgown and sweater in my green space indefinitely when I feel at peace like that.

💝 To follow the heartbeat of life 💝 . Today and every day is the day to learn and to teach. To sing praise and gratitude to my ancestors, and also pray that wisdom and harmony be bestowed upon the new children of Mother Gaia.

I only wish to express in my own words and feelings for my personal gratitude, respect, and praise that I have for Nature and the Great Mother.

I am a child of nature, I am a seed formed of stardust. Amen!

Prayer is often an active communication with a higher power, seeking guidance or expressing gratitude, while meditation is more about cultivating inner awareness and acceptance of the present moment.

I pray often, or at least I ruminate a lot about things I wish I had control over, or the money to donate to, but I would need Elon's bank account and maybe a few other billionaires' bank accounts to cover it all.

But I don't; the only recourse I have at hand when I have these thoughts go through my busy mind is silent prayer. Since I have a very active mind, I often reflect on some of the issues that are happening everywhere in the world these days. Man's inhumanity to man! It doesn't even make any sense anymore why all the butchering of innocent people's lives. Now we have a DICTATOR admirer to make things even greyer. And heating up to the point even the Archangel Michael's wing feathers are wilting. 😆

PRAYER & MEDITATION TIME:

For those of us who wish we could do something, I can only request that you take a moment here to meditate or say a silent prayer.

At least 31 Palestinians killed after Israeli forces open fire near Gaza aid distribution center, Palestinian officials say,

At least 31 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured amid chaotic scenes at an aid distribution site run by a US-backed private foundation in southern Gaza on Sunday, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The health ministry blamed the Israeli military for the deaths. Some witnesses claimed that security personnel at the distribution hub had also opened fire.

The health ministry said that more than 200 casualties had reached hospitals, including dozens with serious injuries. It added that all those killed had been shot in the head or chest...

Two bridges collapse in Russian regions bordering Ukraine, killing at least 7

Two bridges have collapsed in Russia’s western regions bordering Ukraine, killing at least seven people and injuring dozens, authorities said.

It was not clear on Sunday morning whether the two incidents — which both involved trains — in neighboring Bryansk and Kursk were related, or what exactly caused the separate collapses.

At least seven people were killed in Bryansk when a road bridge gave way onto a passenger train late Saturday, with railway authorities citing “illegal interference.”

The bridge came down in the region’s Vygonichi district, about 100 kilometers (62 miles) from the Ukrainian border, crushing the moving train and injuring at least 66 people, including three children, Russian authorities reported.

Bryansk’s regional governor Alexander Bogomaz blamed the collapse in his region on an explosion, saying the bridge had been “blown up,” according to state media.

Carney has 'nation-building projects' on his mind as he meets with premiers in Saskatoon

Prime minister says he wants projects to ‘compete’ for federal approvals

Prime Minister Mark Carney's main focus will be on project development as he sits down with provincial and territorial premiers this week.

First ministers are gathering in Saskatoon Monday for the first time since the April 28 federal election.

Carney told -CBC's- Power & Politics in an exclusive interview last week that "major projects" will be his main agenda item for Monday's meeting.

'The American dream is over': Trump's deportation policies are pushing Latin Americans to Spain

Many Latinos seek asylum in Spain in the hope of living what some now call the European Dream

U.S. President Donald Trump's sweeping deportation campaign and hardline approach to restricting immigration, particularly from Latin American countries, has caused a knock-on effect in Spain. The country is seeing an increasing number of Latinos arriving, abandoning their American dream.

Benjamin Enrique Berardinelli Manjarrez is one of them. The 33-year-old Colombian arrived in Madrid at the beginning of May, by way of Italy.

"My first idea was to go to the U.S. Like many other Latinos, I have this dream of America for a better life and to make money," said Berardinelli Manjarrez. "In one day, you can earn enough money to pay a month's rent in Colombia."

He was planning to travel to the U.S. border and cross illegally, but Trump's tougher immigration policies forced him to change his plans.

"Many Colombian friends told me they want to go back. They don't feel safe anymore and are scared of ICE [U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement] and the police...
