TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! I pray The Great Spirit be with you 🙏 🌅

Now it's not clouds, 🌫, so I thought, possibly a haze from the fires in the East. They were calling for that possibility with the shift in air pressure; the jet stream is finally moving ever so agonizingly slowly toward the East. But the only problem with that is it will also shift the downward flow of the smoke from the fires, including the few we have in northern Ontario, right over the southern part of Ontario.

When I first went out into my green space to take a better look, at first, I thought it was just another gloomy, cloudy day, until I looked to the East and saw the hazy, yellow orb over the trees in a greyish sky. Smoke? Checked the air quality, which indicates: The current air quality index (AQHI) is 2, indicating a low risk, and the air quality is considered ideal for outdoor activities. 🤔 So it seems we've been exempted one more day, and it's cool out, so the sagging scrotum 🫁 is not completely moved on yet. It's like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place, and I'm the bug in between. 🪨 🐜 🪨

What?? ELON MUSK'S BIG BEAUTIFUL ROCKET 🚀 went to the potty 🚽 again. Elon paid the dime, and the big, beautiful Starship just sat there and farted. I'm just here to watch the show, hey man! Hand me another joint, will ya! And I promise I'll stay to watch the next show, just let the fireworks go! I even brought me shades 😎 and a box of popcorn🍿 with me, man! Maybe I should bring the weenies 🌭 too, to be sure there will be plenty of fire in the hole. 🧛‍♀️ . Peace, Man, and sisters. ☮️

I bet someone else is probably laughing over his beer 🍺 right about now. Hint, he also has a big, beautiful rocket, 🚀 , a low profile, and is successfully building his next big, beautiful rocket by avoiding the same mistakes as Elon did.

OK, that is about it from the Newsroom for today. I'm doing fine physically and mentally, as usual, restless and a scatterbrain. There's always commotion in the ocean 🌊 going on in the wild blue yonder inside my cranium. 🧝‍♀️ 🚀 🙀 🧶 -> 💀

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

CONTROL OF THE FUTURE

Do We Control The Future?

- Google Search -

Is Our Future Beyond Our Control?

The outcome is beyond our control! Our fate is shaped by our decisions, actions, and what we learn (good or bad). It's entirely possible that luck could override all of our efforts, making our deeds seem irrelevant. Similarly, we might work hard and still be too unlucky to see the rewards.

Allow me to elaborate on this part of this summary:

It's entirely possible that luck could override all of our efforts, making our deeds seem irrelevant. Similarly, we might work hard and still be too unlucky to see the rewards.

I believe this is where the power of positive thinking and negative thinking have a lot to do with deciding if your proposition even gets born, let alone given life. I know this from personal experience.

I had the drive, the inventiveness, interest, and the ambition to move forward, but my greatest nemesis was money. Something substantial, which some were, still to this day, was quite innovative to say the least. Maybe it was the 'substantial' that was not meant to be.

I had a very good friend back in the seventies who was not only a good friend but a mentor to me. He was the one who told me that maybe the 'substantial, what I'm hanging onto' was not meant to be, and it was time to move on. I was fortunate to have had many mentors along my journey to where I am now.

So, if one balloon deflates, keep blowing up more, and the right one will come along, which may not be the color or size you were looking for, but still turns out to be a discovery of who the inner self is and is not.

Thank you for your attention.

BREAKING NEWS:

Magnitude 5.8 earthquake rattles Turkey, causes panic and injuries

A strong, early morning earthquake shook coastal communities in Turkey and Greece, leaving dozens injured and one teenager dead from related causes.

A magnitude 5.8 earthquake shook southwestern Turkey early Tuesday morning, sending residents running into the streets and injuring dozens in a panic, according to Turkish authorities and the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake struck at 2:17 a.m. local time (7:17 p.m. EDT Monday), with the epicenter located in the Mediterranean Sea roughly 3 miles south of İçmeler, near the resort town of Marmaris. Tremors were also felt in neighboring regions, including the Greek island of Rhodes.

While no major structural damage has been reported, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency said at least 70 people were injured, many of them after jumping from windows or balconies in fear. A 14-year-old girl died after being taken to a hospital for what officials described as an anxiety attack... Read More:

Ukraine strikes bridge connecting Russia to Crimea with underwater explosives

Watch: Ukraine says it has struck a bridge connecting to Crimea with underwater explosives SBU

Ukraine said on Tuesday that it had hit the bridge connecting Russia and the occupied Crimean Peninsula with explosives planted underwater, in its third attack on the vital supply line for Moscow’s forces since the full-scale war began in 2022.

Ukraine’s security service, the SBU, said on Telegram that its agents had mined the piers of the road and rail Crimean Bridge, also called the Kerch Bridge, and detonated the first explosive at 4.44 a.m. Tuesday. The whole operation took several months, it added.

The agency said it had used 1,100 kilograms of explosives which “severely damaged” the underwater pillars supporting the bridge.

Traffic on the bridge was suspended early Tuesday morning, then again mid-afternoon, before resuming shortly before 6 p.m. local time. Although the scale of the damage was not immediately clear, Tuesday’s attack is the latest example of the SBU’s attempts to blindside Moscow and demonstrate that there are costs to continuing its war.

Trump privately complains about Amy Coney Barrett and other Supreme Court justices he nominated

President Donald Trump has privately complained that the Supreme Court justices he appointed have not sufficiently stood behind his agenda, according to multiple sources familiar with the conversations. But he has directed particular ire at Justice Amy Coney Barrett, his most recent appointee, one of the sources said.

The behind-closed-doors grievances have been wide-ranging, and while many have been about Barrett, Trump has also expressed frustration about Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, the sources familiar with the matter said. The complaints have gone on for at least a year, the sources said.

The president’s anger, sources said, has been fueled by allies on the right, who have told Trump privately that Barrett is “weak” and that her rulings have not been in line with how she presented herself in an interview before Trump nominated her to the bench in 2020...

Pimicikamak chief frustrated with residents refusing to flee wildfire, says arrests should be made

'We'll be rounding those people up with RCMP and security and safety officers': David Monias

Pimicikamak Cree Nation leaders are still working to get the final few community members to safety as emergency crews fight an out-of-control wildfire, and Chief David Monias is exasperated with residents who've refused to leave.

"We had to really get people out now, because it's really hard to focus on the strategies for fighting this fire when you have to worry about lives, that the people that are still here," he said Tuesday morning.

"They want to bunker down and think that they can survive it, but if those fire embers come in … they don't understand the dynamics of what the fire does and how it behaves. They feel like they're saving their homes."

There are two fires, one on either side of the community, about 520 kilometres north of Winnipeg.

The fire about 13½ kilometres southwest of Pimicikamak is approximately 3,300 hectares and out of control...

Liberal legislation to further tighten Canada-U.S. border expected today

Canada Border Services Agency will be given new powers to examine goods destined for export

Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree is expected to introduce a bill today spelling out the federal government's next steps on border security.

The recent throne speech promised legislation to bolster security at Canada's borders and new tools for police and intelligence agencies to help them stop the flow of deadly fentanyl and its precursors.

The government also said the Canada Border Services Agency will be given new powers to examine goods destined for export to prevent the movement of illegal and stolen products, including cars.

The Liberals have worked to persuade U.S. President Donald Trump that Canada is doing enough to stem the southbound flow of drugs and migrants since he blamed fentanyl and irregular migration to justify tariffs on Canadian imports...
